A beautiful French winter variety with green foliage that turns to deep blue-violet as cold increases. An eye-catcher in the garden. Stores well in the ground and can be harvested until spring. A strain selected from ‘Bleu de Solaise’. Makes a nice ornamental border. Left in the ground for two years, the leeks produce 5” flower heads on 3’-5’ stalk.
