These large red paste tomatoes are excellent for cooking or drying; low in juice and seeds, high in pulp and classic tomato flavour. Early maturing on vigorous, blight-resistant, and very productive vines. The 4-5” tomatoes weigh up to 1 lb. each and are smooth, cylindrical (sometimes with 2-3 lobes), and taper to a point. These tomatoes, first given to me by my physician, Ellen Anderson, were brought to Sooke by Mr. Arduino from Italy. Indeterminate.
