An ALM favourite, this is a tried and true heirloom from Germany. It is usually our earliest non-cherry tomato, producing long trusses of red 4 oz. fruit with a rich, beefsteak-like flavour. Very versatile: great for fresh eating, sauces, drying, etc. The huge, potato leaf plants are extremely productive and resistant to early blight, as well as being more cool-tolerant than most other heirloom varieties.
