Beautiful red butterhead with very compact, heavy heads. Extra-crisp leaves have green base with uniform red edge. Interior self blanches to a lovely pinkish-yellow. Slow to bolt. Excellent for mini-heads, heads and salad mix. Good for all seasons; great for early/hot season.
