Daucus carota

Market gardeners in Danvers, Massachusetts, developed this variety in 1886. Carrots have broad shoulders up to 2” wide and a tapered “V” root averaging 6” long. Strong tops allow for easy harvesting. Rich, deep-orange colour. Wonderful flavor. A superb variety which thrives even in heavy soils, good as both a main season and winter/storage carrot.

Packet contains 1 1/4 teaspoons or 1250 seeds.
